Tuber Caitlin’s Joy

We added this beautiful magenta dahlia to our planting list last year and have decided to double our production of her to 100 plants for this season! Her color is very unique, it starts off a more pink color and as the season progresses it develops variations of salmon and coral with purple hues! Considered a ball dahlia, I have heard she is in the Cornel family but I am not sure if that is true! What I do know for sure, from my experience, is that she has a tall, up-right growth pattern and she produces lots of tubers that store well,  just like the Cornel family! I love making bouquets with her, as you can see from the photos she looks great with the salmon Celosia! Easily my new favorite color palette!
